The Conference on Supply Chain of National Competitiveness is an initiative founded by Dr. Mubarak Ibrahim Mahmoud FISEN, sequel to his unwavering interest in providing a delibrate effort and platform towards making Nigeria economic and investment landscape Transformative and Competitive among global economic hubs. Dr. Mubarak is the convener of the Conference on Supply Chain of National Competitiveness with the Meiden Edition Held in 2021 at Sheraton Hotels and Tower Abuja. Apart from being the Convener, Dr. Mubarak Ibrahim Mahmoud is a publisher whose work has produce some three volumes of multi-objective books Titled LOGISTICS OF EXPLORATIONS AND INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTIONS Volume I & II and the Voyage of Seaport in Nigeria. Of major interest in his early volumes was the new school of thought in Supply Chain Field Known as SCAR-SR (The Supply Chain Adaptability Redundancy-Sustainability Resiliency) School of Thought propounded by the Author who is the Convener. The Maiden Edition of Conference on Supply Chain of National Competitiveness (SCNC) was commissioned by the former Head of States Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar GCON as chairman of the event during the launching of these two books in July 2021 at Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Abuja. The two days’ event was carried out with the participation of the former Minister of Transportation Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Ameachi (Special Guest of Honor).
As the Convener: “Transformative approach to competitiveness is conceptual, therefore I believe that a collaborative engagement at multi-lateral layers is capable of bringing up to speed the capacity of individual businesses and that of corporations to the goal zero level”.
